Emma Watson has never been one to subscribe to Hollywood stereotypes. The actress and environmental activist has always spread her net wider than your typical A-lister, choosing to study at Brown University, devoting her time to the UN as an ambassador for gender equality, and sitting on the G7 advisory board for women’s rights. Now, she’s taken on a part-time Master’s degree at Oxford University, which she’s completing alongside her busy filming schedule.

It’s hard to imagine that she has time for dating (indeed, this is the star who once coined the term ‘self-partnered’) but it seems Watson’s love life is blossoming. The Harry Potter star was recently spotted enjoying a romantic date at a Gail’s Bakery in Oxford with Kieran Brown, a fellow student who is said to be working towards a PhD in 19th century literature and economics.

Emma is studying creative writing and his thesis is all about literary theory – so they have a lot to talk about,’ a source told MailOnline. ‘She looks so loved up with Kieran.’ The pair kept it low-key at the popular bakery chain in Jericho, with Watson sporting a cable knit jumper, red scarf and baseball cap. The date came just days after Watson and Brown went semi-public with their relationship, kissing in the street after stepping out for lunch in London.
