On what would have been Bob Saget’s 68th birthday, his widow Kelly Rizzo is reflecting on the last celebration they shared on his special day.

In a tribute posted to Instagram on May 17, Rizzo shared a video from the last time the two went out to dinner for the occasion.

“Forever celebrated, forever loved, forever remembered, forever in all of our hearts,” she wrote in the caption. “Happy Birthday. Forever grateful for these memories, and this last birthday celebration together. Forever happy I got to see a smile on his face and happiness in his eyes. Look at how happy he was 🥹🎂❤️.”

Saget could be seen accepting a slice of cake with a sparkler. As he waited for the light to blow out, he smiled and held the confection away from his face.

“I will tell you a cute story about this night,” Rizzo continued, pointing out a band-aid on Saget’s arm. “During dinner he got a mosquito bite and kept scratching it until it bled…”

The Eat Travel Rock creator recalled how “four different restaurant workers frantically got him a Band-Aid” when the Full House alum approached the front desk. As if they were “performing surgery,” Rizzo detailed how they applied the bandage on his arm.
