These were the lyrics Taylor Swift sang as several “Romeos” across the MCG and Accor Stadium got down on one knee over the past two weeks, asking their own beloved to marry them.
Popping the question near the end of Swift’s ballad Love Story has become a tradition of sorts among diehard Swifties. Some fans have even proposed right in front of the pop star – to varying degrees of awkwardness. Given the scale of her current Eras Tour, it’s unsurprising the tradition held strong over her seven Melbourne and Sydney shows.
