Jonathan Owens caught heat earlier this year after declaring that he was “the catch” in his relationship with Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in world champion history.
Owens’ comment—including the reveal that he didn’t know who Biles was before they met on dating app Raya—received mixed opinions online, Travis seemingly added his two cents during a new episode of the New Heights podcast with brother, Jason Kelce.
Owens came up while the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the possibly retired Philadelphia Eagles center (Jason finally addressed those leaked retirement rumors during the episode as well) were discussing Travis’ nomination for Athlete of the Year by the 2024 People’s Choice Awards.
How is Simone Biles on this but her boyfriend [sic] isn’t?” Jason asked, seemingly sarcastically, as both brothers let out a laugh, before Jason added, “So weird.”
