Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce left fans stunned in New Orleans after they were spotted on a romantic dinner date at Lilette, a trendy French restaurant on Magazine Street, Friday night—just two days before the Super Bowl.
Typically, NFL players stay locked in their hotels this close to the biggest game of the season, but Kelce chose to step out with Swift ahead of what he has called “the biggest day of his career.”
The Chiefs are staying at the four-star Marriott near the French Quarter, about a 20-minute drive from the restaurant. While there’s no indication Kelce broke any team rules, his night out still surprised fans—especially considering his previous stance on staying focused before the Super Bowl.
“We’ve got one week, we do what we need to do, then we can party in Vegas for the rest of our lives,” Kelce said before last year’s big game.
