Express Sport brings you the latest news from the US Open.

There will be new names on the men’s and women’s singles trophies at the US Open following a series of high-profile exits. The likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff have all been knocked out, paving the way for a couple of surprise winners at Flushing Meadows.

Gauff became the latest big name to bow out on Sunday night, losing at the hands of Emma Navarro in three sets. Questions continue to be asked about her coaching partnership with Brad Gilbert, with some urging her to pull the plug on their relationship and seek a new coach.

Djokovic and Alcaraz, meanwhile, were knocked out by Alexei Popyrin and Botic van de Zandschulp respectively. It leaves British hopeful Jack Draper with a great chance of making it to the latter stages of the competition as he prepares to face Alex de Minaur in the quarter-finals.
