Travis Kelce’s rep dashes fans’ hopes of imminent engagement to Taylor Swift

Fans will have to wait a bit longer it seems

Fans of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship are going to have to wait a while longer if they want to see a wedding.

A rep of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has dashed any hopes that the famous couple will be heading down the aisle in the very near future, but a wedding certainly can’t be ruled out with the relationship appearing to be going so well.

There was recently a report in Page Six where a source close to Kelce claimed that the NFL star was very close to asking Swift to marry him, which only fueled speculation online.

However, Kelce’s spokesperson on Friday has refuted any engagement plans for now, according to the same outlet.

There have been a number of reports and leaks throughout the past year about Kelce and Swift’s relationship and various people have claimed that they will soon be engaged, whilst there was even one suggestion that they are already engaged and have not announced it.

Logically, it makes sense that they are not engaged yet given Swift has been bouncing all over the world for the Eras Tour and there is no chance of them having a remotely settled engagement in those circumstances.

With the new NFL season now approaching, Kelce is going to be the one moving around more regularly but at least the distances will be reduced, so fans will be paying close attention to his every move once Swift is back in the country.

There is a break in the Eras Tour planned from August 20 to mid-October during which Swift is expected to spend time with her NFL boyfriend in Kansas City, as confirmed by Page Six.

This break coincides with the end of the Chiefs’ training camp on August 15. Although the team has preseason games scheduled for August 10, 17, and 22, it will allow Kelce more flexibility (compared to the intense NFL season) to be with Swift once she is in Kansas.
