Travis Kelce’s go-to snack releases first new flavor in 10 years as Chiefs face off against Falcons
It’s been a great week for Travis Kelce already, but it just got better — his go-to snack just got a new flavor, its first in 10 years, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gets ready to play the Atlanta Falcons
Travis Kelce’s already amazing week is about to get even better — the snack he admitted he eats “more than anything else in the world” is about to get a new flavor.
In a 2023 episode of “New Heights,” the award-winning podcast the NFL star hosts with his brother, fellow NFL legend Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end professed his love for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but not just any PB&Js — he specifically enjoys PB&J Uncrustables.
Uncrustables is an American company that capitalized on most children’s hatred of the crust on sliced bread, creating a no-crust alternative. The sandwiches are round, made with soft, sealed bread, and contain fillings.
The existing flavors are Grape, Strawberry, Honey and Chocolate-Flavored Hazelnut as well as, of course, a classic PB&J. But this fall, Peanut Butter & Raspberry Spread is joining the mix, meaning Travis is likely going to have to make some room in his freezer.
The new raspberry flavor is slated to be just like the other, more classic PB&J, but with a different fruity flavor. The consistency will be just like regular jelly, and the seeds will be removed from the classic snack.
It’s reportedly the first new Uncrustables flavor to be introduced in 10 years. They’re already being rolled out to retailers, just in time for back-to-school season.
