Singer included lyrics about Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift

Ed Kelce, father of NFL star Travis Kelce, recently expressed strong disapproval towards Kanye West after his son and Taylor Swift were mentioned in the rapper’s new song “Lifestyle” from the “Vultures 2” album.

Taking to Facebook on Thursday, Ed reposted an article about the song’s “not-so-subtle” reference to the couple, describing it as “mental illness on full display.” West has been open about his struggles with bipolar disorder in the past.

The reference in question appears in Lil Wayne’s verse, where he raps, “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce.”

This mention comes eight years after the initial feud between West, 47, and Swift, 34, began, stemming from West’s controversial lyric calling Swift “that b***h” in his 2016 song “Famous.”

Has Taylor Swift said anything?
Although Swift has not directly responded to Wayne’s lyric, her fans, known as Swifties, believe she subtly addressed it during her Poland Eras Tour performance on Saturday.

She wore a shirt during the “Red” segment of her show that read “I Bet You Think About Me,” a reference to her 2021 song widely believed to be about West.

Thank you for watching

Travis Kelce, meanwhile, has been busy with the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp since July and has yet to comment on the lyric. However, in a June appearance on the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast, the NFL player joked about his dad’s Facebook activity, noting that Ed often reacts strongly to headlines, sometimes overreacting to “wild” stories.
