Travis Kelce Is Reportedly Making Big Moves To Prepare for Taylor Swift’s Tour Hiatus

The European leg of Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour will be wrapping up on Aug. 20 at Wembley Stadium in London, and she will get some much-needed downtime with Travis Kelce. He will be hard at work on the football field with the Kansas City Chiefs, and that’s why the 34-year-old superstar is reportedly settling down at his home for the next few months.

That means that 34-year-old athlete had to do a little sprucing up in the off-season. “He has done what he can to make his house feel like home to her — even upgrading the kitchen because she loves to cook for him and their friends,” a Life & Style insider said. Swift will likely want to rest after months of hectic travel and performances. The source noted that her top priority is “just nesting during her tour’s two-month hiatus.”

That should also give her some time to “root Travis on at Kansas City Chiefs home games and really focus on him without having one foot out the door.” Swift’s support has even impressed one of Kelce’s longtime pals, Baron Corbin. “[She’s] obviously one of the biggest stars on the planet and when you meet her, you’re like, ‘Oh she’s so nice, so down to earth,’” he said at the WWE Summerslam media day to Instinct Culture on Friday, Aug. 2. “The moment she meets you, she gives you a hug.” He also added that the “Shake It Off” singer likes to “have a good time and have a drink” and “can hang with the boys.”

Swift and Kelce’s commitment to each other was witnessed early on in their relationship. She explained to Time in December 2023 why they prioritized each other despite their massively successful careers. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Now, she will get to enjoy Kelce’s $6 million, 17,000-square-foot residence that he calls home for a few months. Besides the renovated kitchen, Swift can enjoy the privacy of his backyard oasis that includes a pool, lush gardens, and space for entertaining. It’s the perfect place for Swift and Kelce to get away from the prying eyes of the fans and just enjoy their little love bubble.
