Travis Kelce in stitches as Adam Sandler reveals family’s hilarious reaction to Taylor Swift romance
Adam Sander left Travis Kelce in stitches after telling the Kansas City Chiefs star how crazy his family went when he first started dating Taylor Swift.
Sandler appeared as a special guest on Kelce’s New Heights podcast this week after recently confirming they are set to work together on Happy Gilmore 2.
The NFL legend is poised to enjoy a cameo role in the sequel to the hit 1996 movie, having previously thrown his name in the hat to play any part possible in it.
With filming due to commence in the coming weeks, Kelce invited Sandler on to New Heights to discuss Happy Gilmore along with a range of other topics.
And one of them, of course, was Swift.
Sander told a hilarious story about how much the pop sensation means to his family on the podcast, which drew huge laughter from Travis and his brother Jason.
The acting icon told Kelce about his romance with Swift: ‘You guys being together, I mean… when you guys first started dating, my god was my family like, “Yes! Look how good they are together, he’s a gentleman! And she’s having so much fun with him!”
Like any time Taylor is laughing with you, my whole f***ing family is like high-fiving.’
Despite being one of the most famous actors on the planet, Sandler has previously admitted that he gets nervous around Swift after naming her as one of the only celebrities he’s truly star-struck by.
That revelation was brought up during his appearance on New Heights, and he explained: ‘I do get nervous around Taylor Swift because I don’t want to f***ing blow it for my kids and say something stupid,’ he said.
