Travis and Jason Kelce Chug Beers Served by Cavaliers Mascot: ‘Consider Those Beers Deleted’
The brothers and Cleveland Heights natives were served with beers by the Cavs’ mascot Moondog during the team’s 105-104 victory over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.
In a video shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), Travis, 34, could be seen speaking with fans courtside and Jason, 36, was on a phone call before the mascot approached them with two beers
The pair then stood up and lifted their beers to the sky before clinking their cups. The video, which had no sound, then captured the Kelces swiftly gulping their drinks down and smiling once they had finished.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis then appeared to hype up the crowd as he raised his arms up and down while Jason lifted a fist up in the air and hugged the mascot.
Consider those beers DELETED. Legends. #LetEmKnow,” the Cleveland Cavaliers’ caption on X read.
Travis and Jason, who were born in Westlake, both attended Cleveland Heights High School and were inducted into the school’s Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame in May 2018.
Tuesday night also saw fans at the game receive a Kelce brothers bobblehead that featured the duo wearing signature Cleveland jerseys.
In another video posted by the Cavaliers on X, the brothers shared their approval for the bobblehead dolls. “I look way better than I was expecting,” Jason said, with Travis adding, “You got me in the forces come on now, all-white forces, I almost wore them, so it’s perfect.”
