Taylor Swift fans sent into frenzy by Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce post
The Kansas City Chiefs have sent Taylor Swift fans into meltdown after making a reference to the pop icon’s speech at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month
Taylor Swift fans erupted with excitement when the Kansas City Chiefs gave a subtle nod to the songstress for her heartfelt tribute to beau Travis Kelce.
Before their Sunday showdown with the Atlanta Falcons, the Chiefs’ social media team posted a snap of Kelce striding into the arena clad in sleek black attire and eye-catching red shoes. But it wasn’t Kelce’s sharp look that caught the eyes of the Swiftie legion.
The post had a caption saying: “Happiness. Fun. Magic.” – words that Swift herself used at the MTV Video Music Awards speaking fondly of the NFL dynamo during her winning moment.
Swift, while receiving the prize for the year’s best video at the VMAs, praised Kelce’s unwavering backing of her musical journey. “When I’d finish a take, and I’d say cut, and we’d be done with that take, I’d always just hear someone like cheering and like ‘whoo’ from across the studio,” she reminisced.
“And that one person was my boyfriend Travis. Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic.”
Fans swarmed the comments section of the Chiefs Instagram post to applaud the brains behind witty captioning of Kelce’s pre-game ensemble. “Whoever the admin is I LOVE YOU,” gushed a user, while another urged: “Give this intern a raise pls.”
Social media users are heaping praise on internet admins, with one fan saying:, “That caption is perfect,” and another adding: “All Tayblessings delivered for the admin, you really ate with the caption.”
