Sources Reveal Why Taylor Swift’s Romance With Travis Kelce Is Nothing Like She’s ‘Ever Experienced Before’

In a world where distance often spells doom for even the most promising of romances, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been making it work — even if the distance has caused a lot of anxiety for both of them. The pop sensation and her NFL beau are proving that love knows no bounds, setting up Zoom dates and falling asleep to movies together, as if they’re still in the high school honeymoon phase. As Swift wraps up her whirlwind Eras tour in Europe, the pair are finding innovative (and often expensive) ways to bridge the gap.

A source close to the couple dished to ET, “Taylor and Travis always prioritize each other even when they are physically apart. They are still in constant communication, texting and FaceTiming each other.” And it doesn’t stop at virtual date night. The source added, “The pair is very affectionate with each other even when they’re apart.”

Of course, with great love comes even greater financial commitments — which the two definitely aren’t shy about. Kelce reportedly dropped over $20,000 on Valentino for Swift, snagging a $16,000 short embroidered dress among other luxury items. And Swift’s no stranger to big spending herself, allegedly investing half a million to revamp Travis’s wardrobe back in February.

Despite the jet-setting and lavish gifts, the two are acutely aware of the pressures and anxieties that come with spending so much time apart. But when one of you is a millionaire and the other a billionaire, what is distance but a dollar amount that doesn’t even matter?

For those living under a rock, Swift and Kelce started dating in July 2023 after Kelce attended one of her shows (and talked about his crush on her on his podcast with his brother). Swift started showing up to Kelce’s games, and the two have been inseparable since, with Kelce even making appearances at some of Swift’s Europe shows.
