The latest chronicle from Patrick Mahomes and Co. this offseason is right from the lush golf greens. Taking to Instagram, wife Brittany Mahomes shared heartwarming, adorable pictures of the family of four. They seemed to enjoy their pastime with the Super Bowl champion in a golf outfit, while Brittany and the kids donned lighter outfits.
However, not every member seemed happy with the way things unfolded eventually. One, particularly, upset Mahomes was none other than the 3-year-old daughter of the Chiefs QB and Brittany Mahomes. Sharing the incident on her social media, Brittany captured Sterling walking toward her dad, Patrick, while the latter raised a finger to his lip as the picture read, “Dad tell you to shhhhh…”
This reaction from Dad Mahomes was enough to “hurt” Sterling’s feelings as the young child turned around with a clear indication of a sting on her face. She had mini, cute sunglasses in her hand. Meanwhile, Patrick had his hands on his hips with a light smile on his face as if he knew what he had caused.
“Feelings get hurt,” Brittany reiterated the emotions on Sterling’s face through the caption in her story. However, this is not where the scene ended. Brittany’s final story brought the team back together, with both Sterling and her brother Bronze finding solace in their mother’s arms. “And then comes to tell on him,” Brittany captioned, indicating how the young three-year-old could only complain about her dad’s actions to her mom.
It’s a family huddle that reminds us, even off the field, that the Mahomes are just like us, navigating the flags and touchdowns of parenting. The Mahomes family golf time was not simply fun family time but it represented something more nobel.
