Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomesleft fans stunned with a series of photos uploaded for the quarterback’s birthday, as they pointed out the uncanny resemblance with his son on Tuesday, September 17.
Mahomes is now 29 and into the final year of his twenties and if he chose to retire tomorrow, he would retire a success with three Super Bowl rings in his locker, $90 million dollars in the bank and a legacy as one of the greatest QBs of all-time secure.
But the show goes on and as he gets older, Tinesha Mahomes decided to take him back down memory lane with a series of loving photos posted to X.com, formerly Twitter, that left the Chiefs’ fans stunned.
The photos included a huge image of the Mahomes clan gathered together whilst another showed the football player and his aunt together but it was two of him as a young toddler that caught the eyes of fans as they pointed out how similar he is to his own son, Bronze.
One user wrote, “I thought that was Bronze. Happy birthday QB1.”
Whilst a second added, “My glorious goat mahomes.”
And a third wrote, “Happy Birthday Patrick!”
Mahomes celebrated his birthday twice on Sunday, September 15. First he did so by defeating Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals 26-25 at the Arrowhead Stadium, before he enjoyed a private get together with his family.
Organized by Brittany, his pregnant wife, the personal event saw Mahomes’ brother, mother and sister all in attendance to celebrate his birthday three nights before it happened with red, silver and black balloons used to decorate the home.
“Happy Birthday to one of the greatest humans ever,” Brittany Mahomes posted to Instagram. “My husband, best friend and the best daddy ever!
“We are so grateful you are ours! We Love Youuuuuu.”

The Kansas City Chiefs look to improve their record to 3-0 for the season by defeating the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, September 22 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia, with the game expected to start at 20:20 ET/17:20 PT.
The Falcons will be a solid test, after beating the Philadelphia Eagles 22-21 on September 16, just over one week after an 18-10 defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers in their season opener.
