Brittany Mahomes was left in tears following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss
A friend left a touching message for the Mahomes family
The weeks leading up to the Super Bowl, and eventually the big game, were emotional for the Mahomes family.
First, Brittany gave birth to the family’s third child and second daughter, Golden Raye.
Soon after that, Patrick Mahomes‘ mother, Randy, revealed his grandfather was entering hospice care.
She said he was “hanging on” to see Mahomes play in Super Bowl LIX.
After all of the events leading up to the Super Bowl, and ultimately the Super Bowl loss, the Mahomes’ infant sleep coach paid tribute to them on social media.
This is just a little reminder to the world that kindness matters – and that Patrick is so much more than just a football player.”
Brittany reposted the message to her Instagram Story with the caption “Crying.”

“Those turnovers swing the moment of the game and they capitalized on them.
“They scored on one and got a touchdown immediately after another. That’s 14 points I gave them.
“It’s hard to come back from that in the Super Bowl. I didn’t play to my standard and I have to be better next time.”
Mahomes also personally addressed Chiefs fans on X after the game.
“Appreciate all the love and support from Chiefs Kingdom,” he wrote.
