Welcome to The Blueprint, where we break down the celebrity looks we want to wear right now and build them back up, piece by piece.
If you, like me, are currently stumped on what to wear during the transitional weeks between summer and fall, look no further than Meghan Markle’s latest outfit.
Over the weekend, the Duchess of Sussex attended a discussion in Cali, Colombia alongside Prince Harry while wearing an effortlessly elegant ensemble I can’t wait to copy. On top, Meghan sported a polished white collared tank top — which calls to mind preppy blouses we’ve seen on stars like Joanna Gaines and Jennifer Lopez this year — styled with a sequin floral midi skirt and hot pink pointed-toe heels.
While her outfit is definitely fall-friendly, its bright colors and floral patterns make it a no-brainer for late summer, too. We rounded up pieces inspired by Meghan’s versatile look at Amazon, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and more, and prices start at $19.

Right now, I’m only adding pieces to my closet that work for both late summer and fall — and this skirt from Anthropologie more than fits the bill. While its slip style and floral pattern look similar to Meghan’s skirt, its satin material (as opposed to the Duchess’ sequins) works much better for everyday wear. Plus, it comes in nine colors and patterns, should you want to join reviewers in grabbing “more colors.”
“I love this skirt,” one shopper wrote. “It goes beautifully with pumps, heels, and my most worn choice, sneakers. It is super stretchy and so very comfortable.”
This sleeveless collared shirt looks nearly identical to Meghan’s, and it’s currently on sale for $22. The blouse has earned high praise from shoppers who highlight its “elegant” silhouette, “exceptionally soft” feel, and “light as a feather” fit in their reviews. Wear it on its own with jeans or a skirt while temperatures are still warm, then layer it under sweaters or sweatshirts, like I plan to do, come fall.
“This is a staple wardrobe item and can be dressed up or down,” one reviewer said. “The material is lightweight, yet substantial enough to be worn with or without a cami.”
