Jason Kelce May Have Accidentally Revealed Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Made a Massive Relationship Step

Sometimes it’s not what you say, but what you don’t say that can have people doing a double take. That’s what Jason Kelce, the older brother of Travis Kelce, learned after he neglected to correct a radio host on one significant detail while talking about his brother’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

The Philadelphia Eagles center made an appearance on the city’s 94WIP Morning Show with DeCamara & Ritchie on Sept. 12, where he was talking about the start of the NFL season. Naturally, Swift came up.

“Jason, your future sister-in-law had a bunch of wins last night with the [Video Music Awards],” one of the hosts said in conversation. And Jason kept the conversation going without saying anything about the SIL title.

While there have been rumors that the two have engagement on the mind (with Swift even reportedly having someone in mind for maid of honor and a pre-nup in the works), there still isn’t a sparkler on Swift’s left ring finger. At the VMAs on Sept. 11, she thanked Travis for being “fun and magic,” and calling him her “boyfriend.”

But the VMAs were a huge victory for Swift, taking home a total of seven trophies and beating Beyoncé’s record of 24 wins as a solo-artist. Some fans are starting to think that the fact Jason didn’t correct the term “future sister-in-law” — which would suggest the two were officially engaged — has some people wondering if Travis finally popped the question sometime after the awards show.

Of course, Jason had nothing but high praise for Swift’s new award-winning record. “All, obviously, very, very deserved,” he said. “She is just so talented it’s ridiculous, not only as a singer, songwriter, but production-wise, she’s so involved in every facet of it,” he continued, per Daily Mail.

“What is so impressive about her is that it’s so self-controlled,” he added. ‘She’s so involved in all of it. A lot of these guys, again, they were great artists – and that’s what the profession is – but when you can be the great artist as well as the great business manager as well as the great producer, when you wear all of those hats, it’s just remarkable to me.”

Whether or not Jason accidentally let something slip by not correcting a seemingly innocuous term, it doesn’t seem like Swifties will know anytime soon, as Swift reportedly has asked Travis to keep more of their relationship private.
