(Gray News) – Jason Kelce is going viral on social media again. But this time, it’s something you probably wouldn’t expect.
A video posted on X
showed the retired Philadelphia Eagles center smashing a man’s phone after he called his brother, Travis Kelce, a homophobic slur for dating pop star Taylor Swift.
The incident took place after the Ohio State and Penn State game on Saturday, People reported.
In the now-viral clips, Jason can be seen walking on the street through a crowd of people who are shouting and cheering his name.
One person in the video can be heard shouting, “Hey Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a f—– dating Taylor Swift.”
Jason then appears to turn around, grab the man’s phone, smash it to the ground, pick it up again and walk away.
Many fans took to social media to applaud Jason’s actions
“In a world full of hate, be a Jason Kelce,” one user wrote.
Another user wrote, “Team Jason Kelce!!!”
It was alleged on social media that the man who shouted the slur at Jason may have been a student at Penn State, although this has not been confirmed.
