Given that she’s probably definitely the busiest person in the world between embarking on her international Eras Tour dates, rerecording her last two albums (and a whole new one), and making time for her relationship with Travis Kelce, there’s a possibility that our girl is just tired. And we don’t blame her for wanting a little R & R! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A producer for the coveted awards ceremony dished to IndieWire that they’d love to have her for the main show, so maybe she’ll come through later in the evening.

“Listen, we all love Taylor. She’s the best cheerleader you could ever possibly have in any audience, whether it’s the NFL or an award show, so if she wants to get on a plane and come to the Oscars, then we’ll hold a seat for her, 100 percent,” producer Katy Mullan told the outlet. Tay hasn’t been to the Oscars recently, but she has been to Vanity Fair’s Oscars after-party in the past:
