Fans Think Jason Kelce Dropped a Taylor Swift Easter Egg During His Retirement Speech
Jason Kelce confirmed he’s retiring from the NFL after playing for 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and gave a suuuuuper emotional speech yesterday (March 4) while announcing the news. Like, you were crying, I was crying, Travis Kelce was crying (while wearing a Taylor Swift bracelet, might we add 👀)…basically, everyone was a mess.
Jason’s speech was extremely lengthy, but fans are convinced he managed to slip a Taylor Swift reference into the mix when he said, “It’s only too poetic I found my career being fulfilled in the city of brotherly love, I knew that relationship all too well.” Oh, and at another point, he used the phrase “wildest dreams,” so yes, everyone is obviously reading into things.
