Coco Gauff’s emotional revelation as she wants to meet with ‘inspiring’ Kamala Harris supporting her in presidential race
It was a very touching moment when she spoke about it
The United States presidential race has been heating up after both parties had their conventions just a few months away from the actual elections. However, a very powerful boost might gather more supporters for Kamala Harris as Coco Gauff has showed she is with her.
The tennis player said that she would also like to talk to her once again, as she did so but previously and very briefly as she visited with Barack Obama and Michelle Obama and she was present, but she only got to talk to her for a few seconds.
Th defending US Open champion was very emotional when she spoke about this subject during an interview as she look to somehow follow the footsteps of the Vice President taking on her example of success and courage to another level.
The inspiring wish
Kamala Harris’ past has been very interesting and ‘inspiring’ for Coco Gauff, as she has talked about and looks to keep learning from it. “It is really incredible. No matter who you’re voting for, who you stand for, it is really incredible to see how far this country has come (for) people of color, Black people in general,” she said.
“It’s really inspiring to see someone on that ballot. Honestly, it takes the works of many others to pave the way and I’m excited that I’m able to see this in my lifetime because I know many others didn’t get that chance to.”
She added that she knows her mother was a immigrant and that it is important to take that under consideration if a daughter of a person who struggled to stablished herself in another country becomes President.
Thank you for watching
“I think I would ask her just her story and, you know, what were the stepping stones to that point, because I think at one point almost every kid said they were going to be the next President of the United States,” she said when talking about what would she say to her if they have another chance to speak.
