Chiefs name their best TD of training camp and it doesn’t feature Patrick Mahomes or Travis Kelce
Two backups teamed up for the impressive play.
The Kansas City Chiefs are almost ready for the 2024 regular season. Despite a setback in the first game of the preseason, the team continues to practice daily as they look to finish training camp on a high note before making a run at a third straight Super Bowl.
Training camp practices can bring about highlight moments from established stars like Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. But the backups like to get in on the fun, too. So much so that a recent touchdown was considered by the Chiefs’ social media team to possibly be the best one of camp.
Justyn Ross makes incredible catch at Chiefs training camp
The play was a touchdown catch by wide receiver Justyn Ross in which he made a tough sideline catch. He was off-balance due to the ball being tipped up in the air by cornerback Kelvin Joseph, but he remained concentrated, grabbed the airborne ball and got two feet in bounds.
