Billie Eilish is getting candid.

In a cover story interview with Rolling Stone out Wednesday, April 24, the “Ocean Eyes” artist, 22, opened up about coming to terms with her sexuality and why she had initially planned to keep that part of her life private.

When discussing the sexual nature of “Lunch, which will be featured on her forthcoming album Hit Me Hard and Soft, Eilish explained how the new song was a part of her journey of self-discovery.
“That song was actually part of what helped me become who I am, to be real,” she said, referring to her sexuality. “I wrote some of it before even doing anything with a girl, and then wrote the rest after.”

Eilish continued: “I’ve been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just didn’t understand — until, last year, I realized I wanted my face in a vagina.”

However, the “Bad Guy” artist never intended to discuss her sexuality with the public.
“It’s really frustrating to me that it came up,” Eilish told the outlet, referring to when she came out to Variety in December.

Afterward, the nine-time Grammy winner shared an Instagram post with the caption “Who f—ing cares?” referring to the conversation.
