KANSAS City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is close to buying the perfect engagement ring for Taylor Swift, The U.S. Sun has learned.

The NFL tight end took his time touring jewelry shops around the world before finding a $250,000 band, bedazzled with the “finest diamonds,” a source said.

Proposal chatter has steadily increased as America’s power couple approaches their first anniversary this fall.

And it looks like Kelce, 34, is ready to pop the question.

The Chiefs leader, known to be a fierce competitor, took the task of finding the right ring as seriously as he has ever been about chasing Super Bowl glory, a source close to his entourage suggested.

“It probably took more than 40 shop visits and 100 Zoom calls and meetings with jewelry experts” to find what he looked for, the insider told The U.S. Sun.

The ring is worth around $250,000, the insider revealed, and has “the finest diamonds and pieces to build it.”

“He wants the best for his lady,” the source said, noting Travis’ desire to “show how much he loves” Taylor once he goes down on one knee.

“He is ready to get engaged to her, he can’t wait,” the insider added.

The news comes as the European leg of Swift’s Eras Tour is slowly coming to an end.

The 14-time Grammy winner has gigs in Austria and the UK scheduled for most of August before heading back to North America.

Taylor will then take a break from the stage before performing in Canada toward the end of the year.
