Jon Bon Jovi’s second-born son, Jake Bongiovi, is a Jersey boy just like his dad.
Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Bongiovi welcomed their third child and second son, Jacob “Jake” Bongiovi, on May 7, 2002. Jake joined his older siblings Stephanie and Jesse, and was the youngest in the family for two years until the birth of his little brother Romeo in 2004.
Jake and his siblings largely grew up out of the public eye — an intentional decision made by their famous dad, as Bon Jovi explained to The Guardian in 2021.
“My life is much more normal than one would imagine,” the singer said. “There are no platinum records hanging anywhere in my house. The trappings of rock stardom were never a part of my home … My younger kids weren’t quite sure what I do.”
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi’s Relationship Timeline
After a childhood out of the spotlight, Jake starred in the 2024 comedy Rockbottom. In the film, he played the lead singer of a 1980s hair metal band — and wore a wig very similar to his dad’s former ‘do.
