Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was greeted with unexpected notes of encouragement upon his arrival at the NFL training camp, thanks to his mother, Donna Kelce.

Actors Tyler Hynes and Hunter King, who recently filmed the upcoming Hallmark movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, shared with People Magazine that they each left Kelce a note in his locker. Donna Kelce, who also stars in the film, encouraged the actors to leave the messages.

Tyler Hynes mentioned to People Magazine that his note included lyrics from Garth Brooks’ song ‘Friends in Low Places,’ a tune Kelce famously sang during the Chiefs’ most recent Super Bowl parade. Alongside the lyrics, Hynes wrote, “Don’t ever change.”

Hunter King revealed her note expressed gratitude, saying, “Thanks for letting us steal your field and your mom.”

What is the Chiefs movie about?
In Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, King plays Alana, a die-hard Chiefs fan who competes in a Fan of the Year contest. Hynes’ character, Derrick, is the team’s director of fan engagement who falls in love with Alana. Donna Kelce portrays a Kansas City BBQ restaurant owner in this festive romance.

The film also features Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and several players, including Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Mecole Hardman, Trey Smith, and George Karlaftis, as well as the daughters of team CEO Clark Hunt.

The heartwarming gestures from the Hallmark actors highlight the camaraderie and support within the Chiefs’ community, adding a special touch to Kelce’s training camp experience.
