Everyone knows Taylor Swift was born in 1989 (thanks to her successful album of the same name), but what does her actual birthday say about her astrologically?
Born on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1989, the “Fortnight” singer’s sun sign is Sagittarius (also known as the Archer — yes, like the song on Lover) and a Cancer moon.
Though her rising sign can’t be definitively named without knowing her birth time, her known zodiac signs say a lot about her as a person, romantic partner and career-driven woman.
PEOPLE recently spoke with astrologer and bestselling author Lisa Stardust, who analyzed Swift’s birth chart in full detail.
According to Stardust, Swift is a “force to be reckoned with” when it comes to her music career thanks to her conjunction of Mars and Pluto. “[She] is someone who is highly motivated to succeed in all that she does,” Stardust adds.
And that’s just the beginning. Fittingly for someone who named her upcoming album The Tortured Poets Department, Swift has a poetic way with words in part because of her Mercury sign being in Capricorn.
