Travis Kelce’s raunchy acting role sparks outrageous job offers that could spell trouble with Taylor Swift
Swift will not be happy with Kelce’s latest offers
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce may not be dominating on the field this season, but off the field, the opportunities keep coming – and not just in the way you’d expect.
Kelce’s early struggles in the 2024 season have been noticeable. Despite showing some promise in Week 4, the tight end has yet to reach the high bar he’s set for himself after winning back-to-back Super Bowls. But while the field hasn’t been kind, Hollywood certainly has been.
The NFL icon recently took a leap into acting, joining Ryan Murphy’s FX series “Grotesquerie,” where he plays Ed Laclan, better known as Eddie, a character with a surprising past. It seems Kelce’s portrayal of Eddie has caught the eye of a very different kind of audience – one that wants to see Kelce back in a more risqué role.
The buzz started after Eddie’s background as a stripper was revealed in the fourth episode of “Grotesquerie.” It didn’t take long for offers to pour in, including one from a well-known male dance show in Las Vegas, Thunder Down Under. Co-owner Adam Steck was quick to express his interest, suggesting that the idea of “NFL meets thunder magic” could be a huge hit.
And the offers didn’t end there. Another Vegas adult venue, Kings of Hustler, decided to throw its hat in the ring as well. Brittany Rose, the club’s general manager, proposed an invitation with a rather suggestive comment, noting that Kelce could give the public a glimpse of what’s behind the scenes, hinting at his high-profile romance with Taylor Swift.
Kelce is unlikely to consider these offers
Of course, it’s highly unlikely that Kelce would trade his NFL jersey for a “banana hammock” anytime soon. Not only would such a career change raise more than a few eyebrows, but it would also almost certainly put an end to his much-discussed relationship with Swift.
For now, it seems the tight end is happy to focus on getting back to his best in the NFL, while dabbling in acting – even if it means fielding some wild offers along the way. Given his popularity, though, it’s clear that the public fascination with Travis Kelce isn’t just about football – and that may be truer now than ever before.
