The Detroit Lions will try to extend the Chief’s preseason losing record by workshopping a defensive team that can stop Patrick Mahomes’ and Travis Kelce’s onslaught.

However, Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes is not expected to play the entire half, as he typically exits early in the second quarter during preseason matchups. Following his departure, backup quarterback Carson Wentz will take over the offensive duties.
