The NFL season is almost here, and it seems Travis Kelce has chosen to celebrate with a brand new style at the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest game, but does Taylor Swift approve of the new look for the 34-year-old?
Kelce rocked cream, white and red Nike shoes, grey chinos and a chequered bag as he stepped off the plane in Florida on August 9, but it was his shirt that got all of the attention.
The triple Super Bowl champion sported a Perte D’ego top worth $109 and was a brown-base color along with lots of floral, flowery patterns on it as the Chiefs prepared to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in a warm-up game.
He topped off the outfit with a black baseball cap and black shades with a golden watch and chain, complemented by his Apple AirPods, no doubt to listen to the set list from his girlfriend’s Eras Tour.
Fans might be wondering what Taylor Swift thinks of the latest fashion innovation from the legendary NFL player but Kelce likely won’t mind what she thinks too much based on his previous comments.
“Obviously, not every look is for everybody,” Kelce told WSJ Magazine, of his outfit choices. “I’m not going to be offended if somebody says I look like a clown if I got a fun hat on and some wacky jeans.
“It is what it is, I’m gonna have fun with it. For the most part, I do it to put a smile on somebody’s face.”
When is the Chiefs vs Jaguars?
The Kansas City Chiefs travel to the EverBank Stadium to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in a preseason fixture featuring both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce on Saturday, August 10. The game is due to kick off at 19:00 ET/16:00 PT.
