Sports Anchor Makes Bold Prediction About Taylor Swift’s Upcoming NFL Game Attendance
Taylor Swift attended 13 NFL games to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during the 2023-24 season. Recently, a sports anchor made a bold prediction about her game attendance for the upcoming season—and it interestingly involved Aaron Rodgers.
ESPN’s Nicole Briscoe spoke about the pop superstar during the Thursday, Aug. 1 episode of SportsCenter. In doing so, she speculated about how many games the 34-year-old would show up and cheer on her Kansas City Chiefs tight end beau.
“Taylor Swift attended 13 Chiefs games last season,” Briscoe said. “This season, she will attend more games than Aaron Rodgers will play.”
In response, her co-hosts, Matt Barrie and Ryan Clark, exclaimed in unison, “Whoa!” with one of them insisting there was “no way” that would happen.
“You told me to be bold!” Briscoe reminded them. “The whole concept of this was to say something bold, and the only one who actually went bold was me.”
To be fair, the New York Jets quarterback injured his ankle during his first game with the Jets in September 2023, effectively ending his season. Rodgers is set to return on Sept. 9, when the Jets face off against the San Francisco 49ers.
Depending on how healthy Rodgers remains this season, Briscoe’s prediction could very well come true.
